Fjord 44 Open is currently the flagship of the Fjord range. And this is mainly due to the fact that it provides solutions that its predecessor, the Fjord 40 Open, could not offer. If the latter was already a success, and still is, the Fjord 44 Open has come to complete the package of options that make it the ideal boat for daytime sailing. If there was any doubt, some undecided, with this model Fjord has managed to clear them.

With 80 centimeters more of total length and 25 more of beam than the 40 open, the Fjord 44 Open offers a series of very significant changes.

Starting with the XL hydraulic bathing platform that gives us the option of loading a 2.80m long mini jet type auxiliary or a light jet ski (up to 300 kilos). And without this preventing the side to side movement of the platform on the boat, the opening of the storage room located under the aft sundeck, or the use of the bathing ladder. Its integrated ladder folds down when the platform is lowered so that access to the boat remains comfortable even in its lowest position.

Another important novelty is that the aft sundeck is separated from the dinette and allows us to combine both spaces without compromising. You no longer have to do without the table to have a solarium and vice versa. The continuous kitchen module offers more work and storage surface.

The three folding seats of the government position are no longer separate. And under the T-TOP an electric awning unfolds that quickly covers the dinette area without the need to mount the anchor awnings (which are still available as an option). The console mounts a brushed glass windscreen that extensively protects the yacht’s steering position and the first row of benches. Finally, inside, the Fjord 44 Open adds a second cabin with two single beds, and improves the bathroom with a separate shower.
